project living building
project living building stemmed from a clear need for significant change in the construction industry and our perceptions of the built environment. the idea is to create healthy, sustainable and affordable buildings that are scalable, and not limited to one-off projects.
the project’s aim is to create intelligent and adaptive living buildings. this involves a novel construction system (Triagomy), the integration of sensors and intelligence, energy harnessing and water management systems and allowing the building materials to self-assemble (build and repair themselves) using bio-based materials.
biological systems, human-centred design and circular economy strategies lie at the core of every innovation involved with shared benefits to the environment, the human and the economy.
shortlisted by Bulgaria’s BRING to be built in the summer of 2018.
taking inspiration from Balkan traditions and the surrounding natural beauty, freedome, combines Triagomy with Bulgaria’s natural resources and local skills to offer a forward-looking zero-carbon shelter.
